Business Journal’s “40 Leaders Under 40”

The Business Journal’s ’40 Leaders Under 40′, which recognizes dedicated, innovative and young individuals at the top of their respective fields in the Triad, has selected two of our very own.

Stephen Susalka, BS, PhD, Associate Director, Commercialization Product Innovation and Commercialization Services, Wake Forest Innovations, was recognized for his involvement and accomplishments in negotiating licensing agreements for several innovative and promising technologies. He was also commended for his demonstration of excellence in mentoring both graduate students and those in middle school, and is a member of the graduate faculty of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences since November 2010.
Reamer Bushardt, PharmD, PA-C, chair of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, was described as an energetic, focused and enthusiastic professional, was recognized for his “knack for teaching and developing leaders within his field.” His mentoring abilities were not the only skill that made him stand out. He was selected for this honor because of writing and research as well.
They were both presented with the 40 Under 40 award on February 28 at the Elliott University Center on UNC-Greensboro’s campus.
